Porkys Nite Spot

Porky’s is part and parcel of the seedy side of Kings Cross and is famous for being one of those classic sleazy neon-lit titty joints – of the clubs in Sydney with really burly bouncers and hustlers out the front, and wide-eyed tourists stopping outside to take photographs, hoping to catch a glimpse of jiggery-pokery. The notoriety behind its name means the clientele and the girls aren’t as top-notch as a discerning gent might prefer, though the shows are entertaining and you should have got the hint by the neon lights flashing promises of live shows and ‘girls, girls, girls’. Good for a stag party but keep those sticky paws to yourself – or be thrown out on your arse by one of those aforementioned burly bouncers.
